Introducing a great way to spend a few hours on the water, the Narrowboat Driving Experience.

The Narrowboat Driving Experience provides you and a guest the opportunity to take control of one of our boats, accompanied by one of our instructors. Setting off from the boat base, you'll pass through the Preston Brook Tunnel and operate a lock before heading out into the countryside to enjoy the scenery from the water whilst learning a new skill and increasing your confidence in handling a narrowboat. Your friendly instructor will show you how to steer your boat safely, how to bring your boat gently into the side and how to stop it in the water when you need to. By the end of your fun trip you'll have learned the rules of the canals, increased your confidence whilst driving and turned your boat safely.

After purchasing the Narrowboat Driving Experience gift certificate the receipient should phone us on 01928 717273 to arrange their booking. Please note that each experience is limited to 2 people and dates are subject to boat availability. Where a boat is not available on your prefered date we will endevour to find another date suitable for you. Booked dates may be subject to change.

The Narrowboat Driving Gift Certificate is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
